SBI PO Recruitment 2022: State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting Eligible Indian citizens for the Post of Probationary Officer (POs). There are 1673 Vacancies available for this Post. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.

Note: Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate.

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 01.04.2022 i.e., candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2001 and not earlier than 02.04.1992 (both days inclusive). Candidates will be required to register themselves online first and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card etc.

Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) are Rs.750 (Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General/EWS/OBC candidates and no fees/intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Online registration of application & payment of fees is from 20.09.2022 to 12.10.2022.

Name of Post and Vacancies:

Probationary Officer: 1673 Vacancies

Location: The selected candidate may be posted anywhere in India.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years

Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2022. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2022. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.

Other Eligibility Criteria: The candidates with a record of default in repayment of loans/ credit card dues and/ or against whose name adverse reports of CIBIL or other external agencies are available are not eligible for appointment.

Candidates against whom there is/ are adverse.

Selection Process: The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-phase process:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

Phase-II: Main Examination

Phase-III: Psychometric Test

The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added to preparing the final merit list for selection. Results of the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and the Final Result will be made available on the Bank’s website.

Emoluments: Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960 (with 4 advance increments) on the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

How to Apply: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank’s ‘Career’ website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers. The candidates sit Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and open the Online Application Form, available under ‘Current Openings. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking. Candidates are advised to take a printout of their system-generated online application form after submitting the application.

No other mode of application will be accepted. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/ advice from the bank by email/ SMS.
