Food Safety and Standards Authority of India Fill up Vacancy for the post of Technical Officer, Central Food Safety Officer, Assistant Manager(IT) and Assistant Manager. After Pre Exam (CBT- 1) , CBT- 2 exam Pattern released on 31st May 2022 for CBT- 1 qualified candidates. Scheme of Examination and for CBT Stage-2 under Advt. No. DR-04/2021 for the post of Technical Officer, Central Food Safety Officer, Assistant Manager(IT) and Assistant Manager are given below:-

Exam pattern for Mains (FSSAI CBT 2)

The main Scheme of Examination of CBT 2 exam are as follows:

  • There will be 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) in total.
  • Duration of the exam is 180 minutes ( Three Hours).
  • Difficulty Level of CBT 2 Exam- 20% Easy, 30% Medium & 50% (Hard)

Principles and Basics of Food Chemistry and their role in Human Nutrition

  • Structure and functions of macro-and micronutrients
  • Role of macro and micronutrients in human nutrition
  • Over view of food additives with respect to their technological functions
  • Over view of anti-nutritional factors and their removal from foods
  • Over view of enzymes as food processing aids
  • Over view of nutraceuticals and functions foods
  • Overview of food contaminants and adulterants and their effects on human health
  • Food allergens and allergenicity
  • Importance of diet in alleviating health risks, especially non-communicable diseases
