The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) is organizing Convocation of the Eastern Region for awarding the certificate of membership to its Associate and Fellow members admitted during the period from 1st October, 2021 to 31st March, 2022 and also to award prizes/medals to meritorious students (National) and winner students of national level competitions as per details given below: –

The Eastern Region Convocation is open to all members who are eligible. The Institute’s website also contains a list of qualified members for the Eastern Region Convocation. Eligible members will be admitted to the Convocation venue if they confirm their attendance by 6:00 PM, June 21, 2022 (Tuesday) by submitting the Registration Form online at https://forms.gle/z4GErZdfVhNnzrKP9.

Requests to alter regions will not be considered.

If an eligible member does not attend this Convocation or does not confirm attendance, he or she will not be entitled to participate in any subsequent Convocations, and his or her original certificate will be mailed to his or her mailing address on file with the Institute after the convocation.

For access into the location and registration, eligible members should bring one form of identification, such as the Institute’s Membership Card/ Voter Id Card/ Driving License/ Aadhar Card/ PAN Card/Passport.

For the Convocation ceremony, members must wear the following Indian attire/dress:

i. Male members shall wear white/cream coloured ‘kurta’ and white/cream coloured ‘pyjama’ with black/brown sandals or shoes.

ii. Female members shall wear white/cream coloured sarees with any colour border or white/cream coloured ’kameej’ with white/cream coloured ‘salwar’, white/cream coloured ‘dupatta’ with black/brown shoes or sandals.

iii. There shall not be any headgear (excluding Sikhs).

A “Angvastra”, made of Khadi, shall be issued to the members permanently at the time of registration, which they would have to wear around their neck and shoulders.

For putting on the Indian attire/dress, members may also carry their ICSI lapel pin / member’s badge.

In light of the foregoing and in light of the Covid-19 epidemic, the following should be noted:

a) You are responsible for making your own travel and lodging arrangements.

b) No family members or guests are permitted to accompany members to the Convocation venue.

c) No one shall be permitted to represent another at the Convocation.

d) Eligible members will be required to follow the host state’s travel standards and Covid-19 protocols.

e) There is no “On the Spot” registration counter so eligible members will have to register themselves through Google form well in advance.

f) Eligible members must have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.

Any inconvenience resulting from this, if any, is truly regretted in advance.
