All India Radio Recruitment 2022: In Prasar Bharati (India’s Public Service Broadcaster), All India Radio Chandigarh is recruiting an eligible person for the posts of News Editors and News Reader-cum-Translator in Hind, Hindi and Punjabi languages. For given posts, age should be between 21 years to 50 years and the applications should reach on or before the 30th of September 2022. The application mode is offline and the selection of the candidates will be based on a Written exam, and voice test and short-listed candidates will be called for direct interview.

Age: Between 21 years to 50 years.
Qualification:
Essential: Minimum five years experience in handling the news desk and reporting in print or electronic media and Proficiency in Hindi & Punjabi.
Educational: UG/PG/Diploma in /Journalism/ from a recognized University /Institution.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Should be able to handle news desk and should be skilled in translation from English to Hindi and Punjabi.
2. Knowledge of basic computer applications and typing skill.
3. Should be able to promptly update the news as and when it comes.
4. Should know Punjabi, Hindi and English languages.
Place of work: Chandigarh
Age: Between 21 years to 50 years.
Qualification Essential:
a. Graduate from a recognized University.
b. Proficiency in Hindi & Punjabi languages as applicable.
c. Having a voice of Good quality suited to broadcasting
Desirable: UG/PG/Diploma in /Journalism/ from a recognized University /Institution and Experience of journalistic work in Radio/TV.
1. Translation from English to Punjabi/Hindi and presenting the news bulletins and news-based programmes.
2. Knowledge of basic computer applications & typing (Hindi & Punjabi).
3. Should know Punjabi/English for Punjabi NRT and Hindi/English for Hindi NRT.
Candidates residing in Chandigarh are eligible to apply for the post. A written exam, and voice test (for NRTs only) will be conducted and short listed candidates will be called for direct interview. The candidates should pay Rs.354 (300 + 18% GST) as examination fees. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to pay Rs.266 (225 + 18% GST).
