NPCIL Recruitment 2022: The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is hiring eligible candidates for various posts of Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor), Scientific Assistant/ B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering, Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering, Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates, Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator, Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer, Nurse-A, Pharmacist/B, Assistant Grade-1 (HR), Assistant Grade-1 (F&A), Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM), Steno Grade-1. According to the official NPCIL Recruitment 2022 notification, there are only 243 vacancies for these posts.

The last date for application submission is 5th January 2023 up to 1600 hours. Before applying for any post the candidate should ensure that she/ he fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail ID & phone number till the completion of the recruitment process. NPCIL will send intimation/call letter for Written Examination/ Personal Interviews etc. only through the registered E-mail ID. SMS will also be sent to the candidate if an active mobile number for communication is provided. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), the candidate will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration. The SC/ST candidates who are not already in service of the Central/ State/ PSUs and called for a written test from outstation will be paid to and fro II class railway fare or ordinary Bus fare on production of tickets excluding 30 km in both ways by the shortest route restricted to correspondence address indicated in the Application filled in while registering the application. TA will be reimbursed through e-payment.

Qualification and Experience for NPCIL Recruitment 2022:

The post-wise qualifications and experiences have been given below:

1. Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor)

  • Diploma in Engineering * or B.Sc. (Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc.) AND Candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification.
  • Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC. OR Two years Diploma in Engineering through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE. Candidates with Diploma through Lateral entry to a 2nd-year Diploma after 10th (SSC)+ITI shall not be eligible.

2. Scientific Assistant/ B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering

  • Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC. OR
  • Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering. Candidates with Diploma through Lateral entry to a 2nd-year Diploma after 10th (SSC)+ITI shall not be eligible.
  • Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.

3. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering

  • Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Electronics Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC. OR
  • Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electronics Engineering. Candidates with Diploma through Lateral entry to a 2nd-year Diploma after 10th (SSC)+ITI shall not be eligible.
  • Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.

4. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates

  • B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible.
  • Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations.

5. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator

  • HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

6. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer

  • SSC with minimum 50% marks in Science Subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Welder/ Machinist/ AC Mechanic/ Turner trades.
  • For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates should have at least one year of relevant working experience after completion of the course.
  • Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

7. Nurse-A

  • 12th Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) + Valid Registration as Nurse from Central/State Nursing Council in India. OR
  • B.Sc. (Nursing), OR
  • Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years experience in Hospital, OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed Forces.

Note:
Candidates possessing a degree in Nursing may be considered for awarding of two additional increments.

8. Pharmacist/B

  • HSC (10+2) + 2 years diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.
  • The registration date as a Pharmacist with the Central or State Pharmacy Council should be on or before the closing date of online application submission.

9. Assistant Grade-1 (HR), Assistant Grade-1 (F&A), Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM)

  • Any Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Essential requirements for Skill Test:
    (a) Typewriting Test – A speed of 30 words per Minute in English typing on PC.
    (b) Computer Proficiency Test – Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of a duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing.

However, Certificate Courses will not apply to candidates who have studied computer science/computer applications as one of the subjects in their school or college curriculum.

10. Steno Grade-1

  • Any Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Essential requirements for Skill Test: (a) A speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography. A speed of 40 words per minute in English typing on PC. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi typing/Hindi Stenography. (b) Computer Proficiency Test (c) Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of a duration of not less than 6 months on MS Windows Operating Systems and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), email Management, and Internet Surfing.

However, Certificate Courses will not apply to candidates who have studied computer science/computer applications as one of the subjects in their school or college curriculum.

Note:

1. Candidates must have already passed the qualifying examination as of the last date of submission of the online application. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination but whose results are not declared by the crucial last date for submitting the online application are not eligible.

2. Qualification should be for a full-time regular course.

3. Only the above-mentioned disciplines will be considered. Any Courses/Disciplines with equivalence to the above will not be considered.

Salary for NPCIL Recruitment 2022:

The post-wise monthly consolidated salary details have been given below:

1. Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor)

  • Rs 44900 (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 7) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

2. Scientific Assistant/ B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering

  • Rs 35400 (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 6) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

3. Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering, and Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates

  • During 1st year of training, a stipend of Rs 16000 Per Month.
  • During the next six months of training, a stipend of Rs 18000 Per Month.
  • After successful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the pay of Rs 35400 in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time. Additional increment(s), as per extant rules, depending upon performance during training program may also be granted to deserving candidates.

4. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator, and Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer

  • During 1st year of training, a stipend of Rs 10500 Per Month.
  • During 2nd year of training, a stipend of Rs 12500 Per Month.
  • After successful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician/B in the pay of Rs 21700 in level 3 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016 and Allowances as admissible from time to time. Additional increment(s), as per extant rules, depending upon performance during the training program may also be granted to deserving candidates.

5. Nurse-A

  • Rs 44900 (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 7) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

6. Pharmacist/B

  • Rs 29200 (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 5) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

7. Assistant Grade-1 (HR), Assistant Grade-1 (F&A), Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM), and Steno Grade-1

  • Rs 25500 (Pay in Pay Matrix in Level – 4) + Allowances as admissible from time to time.

Selection Procedure for NPCIL Recruitment 2022:

1. For Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor), Scientific Assistant/ B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering, Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering, and Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates:

  • Written Examination + Personal Interview The written examination will be OMR based OR Computer Based Test (CBT)

2. For Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator:

  • Written Examination (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test) The written examination will be OMR-based OR Computer Based Test (CBT)

3. Stipendiary Trainees/Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer, Nurse-A, Pharmacist/B, Assistant Grade-1 (HR), Assistant Grade-1 (F&A), Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM), and Steno Grade-1:

A candidate has to qualify at each stage of the prescribed selection process for final empanelment.
