Logitech is hiring an experienced SOFTWARE ENGINEER II at their Chennai location. You will be responsible for overall system design and development efforts. You will be a critical member of a team that includes firmware, software, design and validation.  You will be responsible for optimizing core aspects of the software that are critical to product design and experience. Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Lead and participate in the design, and development of our next generation Windows application software for Logitech’s input peripherals.

You shall write CI automation tests as part of your feature development using C++,  Python and Robot Framework.

You will work with various cross-functional teams:  Product management, Firmware, QA and other business units to drive forward development of new product features.

You will ensure requirements comply with product goals and desired user experience.

You shall participate and conduct technical reviews of system design and interface requirements and provide technical feedback and make recommendations.

Eligibility:

5+ years engineering experience

B.Tech/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field

Strong software design & development experience on C++ on Windows platform.

Requirements analysis skills

Strong Microsoft Visual Studio development experience, WPF and C#

Strong OOD and OOP fundamentals

Experience with C++ 17 and above (modern C++) a plus.

Proficiency in Python is a plus.

Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process

Excellent written and verbal skills

Commercial experience developing software that interacts with hardware devices a major plus
