IIT Recruitment 2022 for 131 Vacancies, Check Posts, Qualification and Other Details
IIT Recruitment 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur) is an Institute of national importance declared as such under the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, to provide for education and research in various branches of engineering, technology, science, and arts. IIT is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Registrar [P K Kelkar Library], Assistant Registrar, Medical Office, Junior Engineer, Junior Technical Superintendent, Physical Training Inspector, Staff Nurse, and Junior Technician. The appointment is for a period of 1 year which can be extended based on performance. Candidates applying for IIT Recruitment 2022 will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 177500.
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of IIT Kanpur. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email regarding the details for the exam and interview.
The last date for submitting the application form is 9th January 2023. No applications will be accepted after the stipulated date. Incomplete/False applications will be REJECTED.
Note- At the time of Job Oriented Practical Test/interview (if recommended), Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs etc. are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the present employer, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to participate further.

For Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Registrar [P K Kelkar Library], Assistant Registrar and Medical Officer- Candidates between the age of 21 to 45 years can apply for the given posts.
For Junior Engineer, Junior Technical Superintendent, Physical Training Inspector and Staff Nurse- Candidates between the age of 21 to 35 years can apply for the given posts.
For Junior Technician- Candidates between the age of 21 to 30 years can apply for the given post.

For Assistant Registrar [PK Kelkar Library]- Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks, or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ on the UGC seven-point scale and a consistently good academic record.
Desirable- Master’s Degree in Library Science with 55% marks, or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale with a minimum of 8 years experience, out of which at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity in the Level-7 in a Government, Semi Government, recognized University/ Technological Institution of national standing, etc. or at an equivalent level in a reputed private organization. Knowledge of computerized library environment, Computer literacy, and ability to work independently will be preferred.
For Medical Officer- MBBS, including completion of the compulsory rotating internship, followed by at least 3 years of experience in a recognized hospital, OR Post-Graduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital, OR MD, or MS, in a proper branch of Medicine.
Desirable- MCI recognized Post Graduate qualification and Computer literacy.
For Staff Nurse- Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent and must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council with 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery.
Desirable- B. Sc. in Nursing Science with two years of hospital experience.

For Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Registrar [P K Kelkar Library], Assistant Registrar- Written Test and a Seminar/presentation to an expert panel followed by a personal interview for the short-listed candidates.
For Medical Officer– Interview.
For Junior Engineer, Junior Technical Superintendent, Physical Training Inspector, Staff Nurse, and Junior Technician- Written test and skill test/job-oriented practical test and any other mode of selection as per the rules.
