Overview:

Ford is hiring an experienced Team Leader – Discounting at their Chennai location. You will manage team of Discounting Tasks with 10+ members and build strong relationships and ensure good rapport with the BC Teams and leadership team within FCGBC.

What will you be doing:

Monitor daily workload to ensure production targets and Service Level Agreements are met.

Metrics reporting – daily/weekly/monthly to management as needed

Complete Quality Audits/DRG as per the procedural requirements

Support ongoing projects and new system launches

Ensure strict adherence of Procedures and policies, including all MCRP, GAO, PwC and CSA compliance.

Ensure 100% BCP in place for all activities

Ensure team synergy is maintained

Regularly Coach the analysts on job related skills & Plan People development

Regular interaction with team members and ensure they are clear with the objectives and meeting the deliverables. Understand the concerns from team members, take necessary action and resolve timely.

Identify process improvement opportunities and work with the team and people leader to implement the same within a defined timeline.

Qualifications for this Job:

Confident in meeting deadlines with minimal supervision, whilst maintaining high level of quality and efficiency.

Experience in handling multiple process and good conceptual understanding of the business

Quick learner with concepts of the process for various locations

Flexible in working different shift (Late Night shift Timings 8PM to 5.30AM and 9PM to 6.30AM)

Ability to handle team queries assertively, independently, satisfactorily.

Basic computing skills (MS Office Tools), Basic level of knowledge on SharePoint

Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)

Knowledge in Ford Credit Business.

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce / Business

Minimum 4+ years’ experience in Banking/Finance/Customer service/ Global Business Services / Banking back-offices
