WBPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2022 for 158 Vacancies: Check Last Date, Eligibility and How to Apply

WBPSC Recruitment 2022: West Bengal Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC) is inviting online applications from Indian citizens for the post of Veterinary Officer under the West Bengal Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Cadre. There are total 158 vacancies for this post. As per WBPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification Candidate must be able to read, write and Speak in Bengali.

The application fee for applying for this post is 210. S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. However, BC candidates of West Bengal are required to pay the usual fee as said. The online application will start on 30.01.2023 and the last date for filling the application is 20.02.2023.

Eligibility Required for WBPSC Recruitment

According to the official notification released by WBPSC Recruitment, mention below are the required Eligibility:

  • A Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.) or Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University/Institute or any other qualification as mentioned in the First and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984),
  • Registration with a Veterinary Council established under any statute of the State government or the Government of India
  • The Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali – both spoken and written.

The upper age limit should not be more than 36 years on 01.01.2022.
