Selection Process: Stage 1: Objective Type Preliminary Examination, Stage 2: Main (Conventional/Descriptive) Examination and Stage 3) Personal Interview respectively.
Upper Age Limit (As on 01.01.2022): The Un-Reserved Category Candidates should not exceed (Maximum) 36 Years. The Upper Age Limits remain relaxable for Reserved Communities explained in the WBPSC Recruitment 2022.
Essential Educational Qualification: The Eligible Candidate should have the following in possession
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University Grants Commission, Government of India accredited University; Or
He/She must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI); Or
He/She must be a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India; Or Master of Business Administration/Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance); Or
Equivalent Regular 02-Years’ Full Time Post-Graduation Degree in Finance duly accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Desirable and Essential Proficiency: The Candidate must
i) be a Bona fide Citizen of India
ii) have the Ability to Read, Write and Speak in Bengali (not required for those Candidates whose Mother-tongue is Nepali) vide Finance Department’s Notification No.1243-F(P) Dated 02.03.2016.
iii) have Sound Health and Good Character and suitability in all respects for Appointment into the West Bengal State Government Service
Selection for the Posts under West Bengal Audit and Accounts Cadre/Service consists of 03 Stages forming part and parcel of the e West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Examination 2022.
Selection for West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service/Cadre shall be carried out by way of 1) Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Preliminary Examination and (ii) Main Examination (Conventional Type) followed by Personality Test as mentioned in WBPSC Recruitment 2022 Advertisement 2022.
The Candidates belonging to Un-Reserved Category appearing for WBPSC Recruitment for West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Examination 2022 shall have to pay the Requisite Examination Fee concurring with Online Application Process involving uploading Scanned Signature, Photographs and Self-attested Photocopies of the Essential Documents in PDF File as mentioned in the WBPSC Recruitment 2022 Advertisement as well as on the Online Application Link.
