Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Income Tax Department is hiring officers to fill up the vacancies for the Administrative Officer and Competent Authority & Administrator posts. The pay scale will be between Rs. 67700 to Rs. 218200. Officers of the Central Government not below the rank of JS to the Government of India are eligible to apply for the Competent Authority & Administrator post. As per the official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2022, the tenure of the engagement will be of 5 years.

The last date to apply for the Competent Authority & Administrator post is 28.02.2023 and for the Administrative Officer post, the applications can be sent within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.
As per the official recruitment notification, Income Tax Department is hiring officers to fill up the vacancies for the below-mentioned posts.
Eligibilities for the Administrative Officer and Competent Authority & Administrator posts are mentioned below.
Administrative Officer
(i) The officer should hold an analogous post on regular basis in the Parent Cadre/ Department; or
(ii) With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600 -39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 (Pay level-10) or Equivalent in the Parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) With Seven years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300 -34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 (Pay level-7) or equivalent in the parent cadre of the Department;
and
(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Five years experience in Accounts, Administration, and Establishment work in a Government office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous body or statutory organization.
Competent Authority & Administrator
(i) SAFEMA: Officers of the Central Government not below the rank of JS to the Government of India.
and
(ii) NDPSA: Any Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Central Excise or Commissioner of Income Tax or any other officer of the Central Government of equivalent rank.
Salary for the Administrative Officer and Competent Authority & Administrator posts are mentioned below.
Administrative Officer
The salary will be between Rs. 67700 to Rs. 208700.
Competent Authority & Administrator
The salary will be between Rs. 144200 to 218200.

While forwarding the applications of the eligible and willing officers should be duly verified/ countersigned by Parent Office. The applications should reach the Under Secretary, Ad.IC (AAR), Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Room No. 51-II, North Block, New Delhi – 110001. The last date of receipt of the application will be 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.
Competent Authority & Administrator
Applications in the prescribed Pro-forma (Copy enclosed) of only those officers who are eligible and willing and whose services can be spared immediately on their selection may be forwarded to this Department on or before 28.02.2023. Advance copies of the applications shall not be entertained. The selected officers shall not be allowed to withdraw his/ her application.
