Sri Aurobindo College Recruitment 2023: Sri Aurobindo College has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor in various departments. There are total of 111 Vacancies for given posts.
The Candidates should hold a minimum of a Master’s degree with 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. The direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors in the Colleges shall be on the basis of merit through all India advertisements and selection by the duly constituted Selection Committees. National Eligibility Test (NET) shall be the minimum eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professor.
As per Sri Aurobindo College Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the applicants are required to apply online in the prescribed format with complete, correct information and attachments. The last date for receipt of the application is within three weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

There are total of 111 Vacancies for given posts.
For the disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages, Library Science, Journalism & Mass Communication and Physical Education, the job post of Assistant Professor required:
A. 1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clause (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document).

B. The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign University/Institution with a ranking among top 500 in the world University ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) The Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking Of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
Notes to Educational Qualification and Experience:
The academic score specified in the screening guidelines for the University’s Colleges shall be considered only for short-listing candidates for interviews, and selections shall be based solely on performance in the interview.
Application fees and application form(s) are to be submitted as per details given below:
Fees for Assistant Professor is Rs.500 for UR/OBC/EWS category. Applicants from the SC, ST, PwBD, and Women categories will not be charged an application fee.
Note to Application Fees:
1. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Application forms must be completed only online, as available on the College’s website along with this advertisement, within the time limit specified in the advertisement. There would be no offline forms accepted.
3. Payment should be made online only, through credit/debit card/Net Banking.
4. Applicants applying for multiple positions/departments must apply and pay fees separately.
The Candidates will be given pay of Rs.57700 as per 7th CPC pay matrix in addition to other usual allowances.
