C-MET Recruitment 2023: Centre for Materials for electronics technology (C-MET) is inviting applications from eligible and highly motivated candidates for the post of Project Engineer, Project Scientist and Junior Research fellow on a temporary basis. As per the C-MET Recruitment notification, there are total 05 vacancies. The selected candidate will be appointed till the date 29.09.2024.
Candidates will be selected through a written test and a personal interview. Candidate meeting the below-mentioned eligibility criteria have to send their duly filled application to the address mentioned below on or before the last date. applications received after the last date will be summarily REJECTED. An incomplete application will be liable to be rejected. The last date for accepting the offline application is 15 days from the notification released.

There are total 05 vacancies.
Candidates applying for the post of Project Engineer should have First Class (60%) in B.Tech./BE in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience in a Metallurgical/Chemical/Recycling Plant or R&D institution. Candidate having M.Tech/ME in Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Production Engineering/E-waste resource Engineering & Management will be desirable.
Candidates applying for the post of Project Scientist should have First Class (60%) Master’s Degree in Engineering Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/E-Waste resource Engineering & Management from a recognized university or equivalent with 3 years of research experience in E-waste recycling. Candidates having a doctoral Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Metallurgy/Physics with research experience in e-waste recycling can also apply.
Candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow should have M Sc. In Physics/Chemistry or Material Science with UGC-CSIR NET or GATE. Candidates having 02 years of hands-on experience in the area of E-Waste recycling, chemical processing of materials, and characterization of materials will be desirable. Candidate having B.Tech/BE in Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering with valid GATE score. Candidate having M. Tech/M.E. in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering, and 02 years of research experience in e-waste recycling, extractive metallurgy of nonferrous metals, and process automation will be desirable.
Candidates above the age of 35 are not eligible to apply for the post of Project Scientist and the maximum age limit for Project Engineer and Junior Research Fellow is 28 years.
Selected candidates for the post of Project Engineer will get a monthly salary of Rs. 44450. The selected candidate for the post of Project Scientist will get a monthly salary of Rs. 71120 and the selected candidate for the post of Junior Research fellow will get a monthly salary of Rs. 39370.
