UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting online applications for the post of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Rubber Production Commissioner, Scientist ‘B’, Scientific Officer, Fisheries Research Investigation Officer, Assistant Director of Census Operations, Assistant Director (IT), Junior Translation Officer, Deputy Legislative Counsel, Assistant Engineer and Senior Scientific Officer on probation basis. As per the UPSC Recruitment notification, there are total 111 vacancies.

The maximum age limit for these posts is 30 years to 50 years. Selected candidates will get the salary on a pay scale on level 06 to pay scale Level 13.  The selected candidate will be appointed on probation as per the rule. Qualification Required for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidate applying for the post of Deputy Commissioner should have a Master’s Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture or Botany with specialization in horticulture or equivalent* from a recognized University. Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Director should have a bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science or a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology or Toxicology from a recognized Institute or University. Candidates applying for the post of Rubber Production Commissioner should have a Post Graduate Degree in Botany or Agriculture from a recognized University. Candidate applying for the post of Scientist ‘B’ should have a Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University or Institute, and must have one year of practical experience in Non-destructive /metallographic techniques as employed in Testing/evaluation/ failure investigation of materials OR Candidates should have Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institute, and candidate should have two years practical experience in Non-destructive /metallographic techniques as employed in testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials.

Eligibility Required for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Deputy Commissioner post should have 10 years of experience in horticulture development or research or production or extension. Candidates having a Doctorate degree in horticulture or equivalent from a recognized University will be given preference. Candidates applying for the Assistant Director should have Three years of working experience in a lab or hospital or institution in the related field of Pharmacology or Toxicology. Candidates have master’s Degrees in the field of Veterinary Science with a specialization in Pharmacology or Toxicology from a recognized university. Candidate should have One-year of practical experience in the management of Animal Houses or handling of animals or in the field of Toxicology of Pesticides or Chemicals will be desirable. Candidates applying for the Rubber Production Commissioner should have Knowledge of all aspects of modern scientific cultivation of rubber including new planting, replanting and preparation of raw products candidate should have Twelve years of experience in a responsible capacity in the formulation and implementation of Schemes relating to Agriculture of which at least five years experience should be in rubber cultivation.
