IOCL Recruitment 2023: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has called in Applications from Competent Officers Eligible for Appointment on the Director (Research & Development) Post on a Fixed Term Basis (FTB) in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL),  New Delhi notified vide IOCL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement. As per the IOCL Recruitment 2023  Advertisement, the notified 01 Vacancy shall be filled up with Appointment of a Suitable Officer as Director (R&D) in the Pay Scale Rs. 1.80 to Rs. 3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA) in Indian Oil Corporation Limited

Based on the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the PESB notified Vacancy for Director (Research & Development) Post shall occur on the 1st Date of August 2023 (01.08.2023).

Experienced Officers Eligible with Willingness for the Director (R&D) Post in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. may apply as per Instructions in the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose. According to IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Last Date for the Willing Applicants to complete the Online Application Registration Process shall terminate on 2nd May 2023 (02.05.2023).

Post and Vacancy under IOCL Recruitment 2023:

As per the IOCL Recruitment 2023 iocl Notification IOCL notified 01 Vacancy to be filled up spans 05-Years’ Fixed Term from the Date of Joining. The  Vacancy to be filled up with a Suitable Selection of the Director shall occur on 01.08.2023:

Post Nomenclature: Director (R&D)

Date of Occurrence of Vacancy: 01.08.2023

Pay Scale under IOCL Recruitment 2023:

As has been notified in the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, post-Selection, the Officer to be issued Appointment as Director (Research & Development) will be entitled to the following Pay Scale.

Pay Scale: Rs.1.80 Lac to 3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA)

Age Limits for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

According to the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates explained are hereunder:

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on the VOD 01.08.2023)

A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy) in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Vacancy Occurrence Date) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the Post Director (Research & Development) is 01 (One) Year in regard to the Internal Personnel and as regards Others (External) is 02 (Two) Years As on 01.08.2023.

Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible Applicants should have gained following Essential Eligibility in reference to IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification explained hereunder:

A.I)  Essential Educational Qualification: The Candidate should be a Post-Graduate Engineering preferably in Chemical/Mechanical/Fuel Technology/Tribology with a Good Academic Record from the Accredited University/Institute.

Desirable: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in the Post-relevant field will be an Added Advantage.

Experience: The Applicant should have adequate Research & Development/Technical Experience/Exposure at any Senior Management Level in any large Organisation of Repute, out of which Minimum 05-Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure out of Last 10-Years should have been in any Research & Development relevant/Pertaining to Petroleum Refinery/Lubrication and Tribology/Petrochemical Sector.

B) Other Essential Eligibility Conditions for IOCL Recruitment 2023:

Selection on to Director (Research & Development) Post shall be carried out through Interview for Appointment on the Director (R&D) Post mentioned in  the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board, for Appointment on Director (Research & Development) Post, will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered their respective services in any of the Listed Companies notified through the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Incumbent’s Tenure as Director (Research & Development) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier as may also be read in the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Based on the IOCL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Eligible and Willing Applicants should apply Online followed by submission of the Online Application Print-out in the Offline Mode through the PESB Online Recruitment Application Portal as has been explained in the subsequent Part:

Important Points for Applying for PESB issued IOCL Recruitment 2023:

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection on the Post of Director (R&D) may be spared for Appointment, should apply through “Proper Channel”.

Note: The Applicant on the Date of Application as well as on the Interview Date should be in employment in a Regular Capacity, not in a Contractual or Ad-hoc Capacity in the Following Concerns:

a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a Full-Time Functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);

b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;

c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the Annual Turnover is *Rs 10000 Crore or more;

d) Private Sector in Company where the Annual Turnover is *Rs 10000 Crore or more;

i) Fill up the Application Format Online only against the Job Description (Director-R&D);

ii) Fill up the Application Form Online and take a Printout of the Online Application. Annex all the Testimonials with the ORA Printout to be dispatched.

Step 1: Log on to the Public Enterprises Selection Board Weblink for Online Application.

Step 2: Apply Online by Clicking on the Online Recruitment Application Link.

i) Fill up the Application Form Online only against the Job Description (JD) (Director-Research & Development) on the PESB Website. Post-completion of the Online Application process forward it Online only. Or

ii) Take the Online Application’s Printout and the Application clubbed with the Self-attested Documents including essential Testimonials.

iii) Put the Online Application Print out with all Self-attested Mandatory into an Envelope superscripted “Application for the Post Director (R&D) in IOCL” for submission in the Office of  “The Secretary, Mrs. Kimbuong Kipgen, The Public Enterprises Selection Board, Public Enterprises Bhawan, Block No. 14, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110 003″
