CAU Imphal Recruitment 2023: Central Agriculture University (CAU) Imphal-Imphal, receives applications from eligible candidates for various posts under Professor, Associate Professor, Chairman, and Assistant Professor disciplines. According to the official notification of CAU Imphal Recruitment 2023, there are 190 open positions to be filled for all constituent Colleges and the Multi-Technology Testing Centre/Vocational Training Centre of Central Agricultural University, Imphal. The maximum age limit for the above posts is 65 years, however, to be appointed for the Assistant Professor post, a candidate must be above 35 years. The shortlisted candidates would be paid between Rs.57,700 to Rs.1,44,200 monthly.

According to the official notification of CAU Imphal Recruitment 2023, candidates would be hired based on experience and qualifications as mentioned below.
For Chairman/Professor
An applicant must consist a Master’s degree in science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade points. He/she must have a minimum of ten years of experience in teaching/research/extension, of which at least three years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in Pay Band-4 (Level-13A) iv) Experience guiding students at Masters and Doctoral levels.
For Associate Professor
A candidate must have Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade points. He/she must have a minimum of eight years of experience in teaching/research/extension education as Assistant Professor or equivalent position.
For Assistant Professor
An applicant should have a Master’s degree in basic sciences with at least 55% marks or Ph. D in a relevant subject with published Research papers in scientific journals. He/she must have evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR, ASRB, UGC, CSIR. (NET shall not be required in disciplines for which NET is not conducted).
