Overview:

Cisco is hiring an experienced Accountant at their Bangalore location. This role requires managing the General Ledger for Cisco’s APJC /EMEA entities through strategic Outsourcing Partners.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

To be the point of contact for the Controller’s group for all deliverable handled through Outsourced Partner for the given Function / Process.

Responsible for planning and driving book close activities, collaborating closely with the operations team to provide necessary inputs to Outsourcing Partners.

Review of Journal entries, Reconciliations and other GL related deliverables.

Participate in postmortem reviews for the said Function/Process and monitoring the operational metrics & SLA’s.

Identify/fix process gaps and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications for this job:

Graduate/ Postgraduate in Commerce – CA/CPA (US) preferred.

4-6 years of working experience in Accounting Operations, within a process oriented and ERP driven MNC environment.

Working knowledge of US GAAP, EXCEL with good analytical and communication skills.
