ESIC Recruitment 2023: Notification Out for Assistant Professor, Check Age, Salary, Qualification and Other Vital Details
ESIC Recruitment 2023: Employess’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is inviting applications from interested and qualified application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in Microbiology, Community Medicine, Physiology and Paediatrics department at ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata-700104. In accordance with the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, there are 04 vacant seats available for the given post. The maximum age limit is 69 years to apply for the mentioned post. Candidates should have MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject. An interview will be used to make the decision. Each qualified applicant will receive an email with the names of the qualified applicants as well as the tentative date, time, and place of the interview. As given in the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, on the day of the interview, the candidate must present a properly completed application form at the time of document verification. Teaching Faculty will be entitled to a transport allowance with DA on transport allowance in addition to the previously mentioned consolidated salary. As per the guidelines, the DA for transport expenses may be changed from time to time.
According to the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.133640. Candidates who are selected will be hired for a duration of 1 year under a contract-based arrangement for the engagement. As mentioned in the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, interested and suitable applicants should physically deliver the duly filled application form along with the necessary documents to the Office of the Dean, ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata-700104 on or before the deadline. As per the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, the application fee is Rs.225 and SC/ST/Regular ESIC Candidates/ Female Candidates & Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of the application fee. A Demand Draught for Rs. 225 must be included with the application form, which is payable to “Kolkata” and drawn on any registered bank after the date of the notification’s issue, and paid in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. I.” An incomplete application will be REJECTED summarily.

As per the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, the engagement is based on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 01 year. However, the contract would be terminable on one month’s notice, on joining of regular faculty by regular appointment/ promotion or attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
According to the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs.225 as an application fee. SC/ST/Regular ESIC Candidates/ Female Candidates & Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The Application Form must be submitted with a Demand Draft of Rs. 225 drawn on any scheduled bank after the date of released notification and payable to “Kolkata” in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. I.”
In accordance with the official notification of ESIC Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on an interview. The names of the qualified candidates and the tentative date, time, and location of the interview will be notified to each qualified candidate’s email address, and they will also be requested to attend the interview on the date specified in the email-based interview call letter only. Candidates have to submit the duly filled application form at the time of document verification on the day of the interview.
