Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the lead Centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and is hiring candidates for the post of Junior Translation Officer and Catering Supervisor. The number of vacancies available for the given posts is 02, where for Junior Translation Officer there is 01 vacancy and for Catering Supervisor there is 01 Vacancy.

Age Limit for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the above post is 18 years and the maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years as of 11.07.2023.

Qualification for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the ISRO Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Junior Translation Officer

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
• Candidate should have a Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of in translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India undertakings.

Catering Supervisor

• Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management; or Hotel ManagementCatering Technology; or Hospitality and Hotel Administration; or Catering Science and Hotel Management with one year of experience.
• Candidate should have Diploma in Catering+ 3 years experience.
• Candidate should have PG Diploma in Hotel Management + 2 years experience.

Experience for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

• The experience should be in a supervisory capacity in an Industrial Canteen or an established Hotel catering to more than 300 persons.
• Candidates should be capable of providing top-grade canteen services using modern state-of-the-art kitchen equipment. The experience should be after obtaining the relevant qualification.

Salary for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be paid between Rs.35400 to Rs.112400 per month.

Application for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 750 (excluding any taxes/charges). Candidates in fee-exempt categories will be repaid in full. Other candidates will be refunded Rs. 500 after deducting the Rs. 250 application fee.

Selection Process for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and skill tests for both posts.

Written Tests

• The Written Test will be a pen-paper-based examination. The written test consists of Part-A (objective type questions), and Part-B (descriptive type questions) for 200 marks.
• The candidate has to qualify for both Part- A and Part – B, separately. The minimum qualifying mark for Part-A is 40% and for Part B is 40%.

Skill Tests

• The skill test will be purely on a ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for final selection. The skill test will be evaluated.
• For Candidates who qualify in the skill test with a minimum of 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test.
