Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Inspector will be given a monthly salary between Rs.9300 to Rs.34800, for the post of Sub-Inspector will get a monthly salary between Rs.35400 to Rs.112400 and for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector will be given a monthly salary between Rs.29200 to Rs.92300.

Qualification and Experience for NIA Recruitment 2023:

For Inspector-

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Two years experience in handling cases of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases, or Training in counter-terrorism.

For Sub Inspector-

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience of two years in the handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases, or Training in counter-terrorism.

For Assistant Sub Inspector-

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Experience of at least two years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations, or Information Technology Management.

Eligibility Criteria for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the required eligibility criteria is listed below-

For Inspector-

• The officers of the Central Government or State for deputation/ Government or Union Territories:-
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
• With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300 to 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200 in the parent cadre or department.

For Sub Inspector-

• The officers of the Central Government or State m/ Government or Union Territories:-
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• With 6 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2800 in the parent cadre or department.

For Assistant Sub Inspector-

• Officers of the Central Police Organisations, State Police Organisations, Government’s Intelligence Agency, or other investigation bodies,-
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• Head constable in level-4 (Rs. 25500- 81100) in the pay matrix with five years of regular service in that grade in the State or Central Police organizations.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the engagement is made on a deputation basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 03 years.

Place of Posting for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be posted at Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Raipur, Chandigarh, Imphal, Chennai, Patna and Ranchi, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.
