National Investigation Agency (NIA) is recruiting candidates for the post of Inspector, Sub Inspector, and Assistant Sub Inspector on a deputation basis. There are 97 vacancies for the given posts.

Age Limit for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above-mentioned post is 56 years.

Eligibility for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the eligibility required for the above mention post is given below.

Inspector

The officers of the Central Government or State for deputation/ Government or Union Territories:-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With 5 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300 to 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200 in the parent cadre or department

Sub Inspector

The officers of the Central Government or State m/ Government or Union Territories:-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• With 6 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2800 in the parent cadre or department.

Assistant Sub Inspector

Officers of the Central Police Organisations,State Police Organisations,Government’s Intelligence Agency, or other investigation bodies,-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• Head constable in level-4 (Rs. 25500- 81100) in the pay matrix with five years of regular service in that grade in the State or Central Police organizations.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected for a period of no more than three years.

Qualification and Experience for NIA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NIA Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Inspector

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Two years experience in handling cases of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases, or Training in counter-terrorism.

Sub Inspector

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience of two years in the handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases, or Training in counter-terrorism.

Assistant Sub Inspector

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Experience of at least two years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations, or Information Technology Management.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate will get a monthly salary on a scale pay between Rs.29200 to Rs.112400. For Inspector post should be between Rs.9300 to Rs.34800, for Sub Inspector post should be between Rs.35400 to Rs.112400 and the Assistant Sub Inspector post should be between Rs.29200 to Rs.92300.

Special Secruity Allowance for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, 20% of the basic salary, as well as any further modifications made by the government.

Place of Posting for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, candidates will be posted in Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Raipur, Chandigarh, Imphal, Chennai, Patna and Ranchi, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Ahmedabad.
