Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Defence is looking for willing and qualified candidates for the posts of LDC, Cook, MTS (Messenger) and MTS (Gardener). According to the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a Written/online Test. The Written / Online Test will be held at Island Grounds, Chennai – 600009 (Tamil Nadu). The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years for UR candidates, 30 years for SC/ST candidates and 28 years for OBC candidates. There are 12 openings to be filled for the mentioned posts.
According to the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be provided a monthly salary up to Rs.19900. Candidate should have passed 10th and 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University (For the post of LDC) and must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade (For the post of Cook). As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, interested and qualified candidates should obtain the prescribed format from the official notification and send it along with the relevant documents to the Presiding Officer C/o Officer Commanding Troops, Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai – 600009 on or before the last date. The alternative application mode will be evaluated.

Shortlisted candidates for the positions of LDC and Cook will be provided call letters for Skill Tests only after passing the written/online examination. Questions will be objective type. The Written / Online Test will be conducted at Island Grounds, Chennai – 600009 (Tamil Nadu).
As per the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 notification, interested and qualified candidates can download the blank application form from the official notification and send the same duly filled application form along with the supporting documents to the Presiding Officer C/o Officer Commanding Troops, Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai – 600009 on or before the last date. The other mode of application will be considered.
The closing date for submitting the application form is 21 days after the date of release notification. Application received after the due date will be REJECTED summarily.
