RRC Recruitment 2023: The Regional Recruitment Cell (RRC) of the North Western Railway is inviting online applications from young and dynamic sportspersons for recruitment against the Sports Quota (Open Advertisement). In accordance with the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be put in various pay levels of the North Western Railway. There are 54 vacancies available in different sporting disciplines. The vacancies are available for both men and women. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Pay Level 1 to Pay Level 5, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidates. The minimum age limit is 18 years while the upper age limit is 25 years, as given in the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023.
According to the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. The application fee for SC, ST, Women, Minorities, and EBC candidates is Rs 250. The vacancies are available in the Jaipur, Ajmer, and Bikaner divisions of the North Western Railway. There are 54 vacancies available for sportspersons in different sports. Some of the sports eligible for this recruitment process are Wrestling, Badminton, Athletics, Basketball, etc. Some of the posts on which the selected candidates will be posted are Jr. Stenographer, Tech-III, Signal Maintainer Grade-I, etc.
Based on the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit to apply for the available vacancies is 18 years while the upper age limit is 25 years as of 01/01/2024. That is, candidates must have been born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2006 (both dates inclusive).
As per the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, candidates will need different qualifications to be eligible for recruitment at different pay levels. The detailed qualification is given below:
For Pay Level 1
Candidates must hold a Matriculation (Class 10), ITI, or equivalent certification.
For Pay Level 2/3
Candidates must have Class 12 (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University OR Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and have ITI certificate (to be posted as Tech-III) OR Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board ( to be posted as Tech III).
For Pay Level 4
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. Candidates must also have a dictation speed of 80 wpm (words per minute).
For Pay Level 5
Candidates must have a Graduation/Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university OR Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university (for the Signal Maintainer Grade-I post).
In accordance with the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will receive monthly salaries as per Pay Level 1, Pay Level 2, Pay Level 3, Pay Level 4, and Pay Level 5, depending upon the sporting qualifications and achievements.
As mentioned in the official notification for RRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will work at various locations of the North Western Railway. The vacancies are available at Head Quarter Jaipur, Ajmer Division, Bikaner Division, Jaipur Division, Jodhpur Division, and Ajmer Workshop.
