Overview:

SAP is hiring an experienced Senior Risk Specialist at their Bangalore location. The right individual will support stakeholders in the APJ region executing our country-based risk management program. This includes which supports management in risk evaluations and decisions which creates transparency, business resiliency and safeguards SAP’s business. The individual will bring a background in risk management, compliance, internal audit and/or internal controls. As a member of the Enterprise Risk and Assurance team you will report into the Manager of the team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Engage with business leaders and experts creating awareness and risk management culture within the APJ region.
• Execute our risk management objectives in supporting stakeholders across the business with transparency, value driven evaluations, and effective decisions.
• Evaluate and monitor risks throughout the APJ regional providing timely and quality risk management support.
• Deliver results and reports suitable for board members, executives, and business managers in a clear, concise, and strategically positioned manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Global Risk and Assurance Services team members to increase effectiveness and efficiency of risk, internal controls, and audit services provided by the Global Risk and Assurance Services organization.
• Excellence with situational and interpersonal communication skills adaptable globally.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices sharing across the team

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, or equivalent preferred
• Advanced Degree and relevant certifications are a plus
• Advanced English skills to deliver clear, concise communications suitable for executives
• Excellent project management, research, and analysis skills
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Committed to ethics such as impartiality, unbiased attitude, and avoiding conflicts of interest
• Broad expertise with Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Internal Controls.
• Proficient with SAP Systems and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience working in a global environment and engaging with executives, and experts.
