Overview:

ABB is hiring an experienced Sales Support Specialist at their Bangalore location. You will be working as Sales Support Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for supporting the assigned sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparing of technical or commercial greenfield solution offers based on customer specification requirements, local business unit and sales organization directives
• Interfacing towards customer or local divisions, ensuring timely and proactive communication
• Setting up and collaborating with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes and Insurance
• Coordinating with procurement team and maintaining support from internal and third- party suppliers
• Analyzing project proposals cost plans, preparing for risk review, defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating to sales organization
• Preparing win or loss analysis for the bids prepared, bid process compliance and delivering high quality bid documentation meeting bid timelines

Eligibility Criteria:

• BE or B Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Instrumentation & Control
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in bidding or tendering for Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries
• Experience in handling MAC / Turnkey bids and experience from engineering and project execution
• Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry, ABB automation products like 800xA / symphony plus will have advantage
