UPSC CSE Admit Card 2024: The Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the CSE Admit Card 2024 for the upcoming Civil Service Examination preliminary exam 2024 soon on their official website. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination (preliminary exam) 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on June 16 this year, 2024. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2024, but due to the Lok sabha elections, they are now shifted to June 16.
As per the official notification by the authority, the exam will be conducted to fill up approximately 1056 vacancies in central government services and departments, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). In this recruitment, 40 vacancies are reserved for the Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category. The UPSE Civil Service Examination (preliminary exam) 2024 will be totally conducted with objective-type questions and in two shifts, General Studies (GS) and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). The first shift will be organised between the morning session from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second in the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Admit Card 2024 through the official website i.e., upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. entering their key details like Registration Number and Password generated at the point of registration. The commission will also release the Admit Card for the preliminary exam one week before the exam date. At the exam centre, candidates will need to carry their UPSC CSE Admit Card 2024 along with a valid ID proof issued by the government of India. Entry will not be permitted to the candidate without these two documents.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination (preliminary exam) 2024 will be totally based on MCQ questions (weightage = 400 marks) and will consist of two papers. Both papers will be conducted for the duration of two hours each and can be attempted in two languages English and Hindi. The UPSC Civil Service Examination 2024 is a screening test conducted to shortlist candidates for the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2024. The passing criteria decided by the authority to clear the examination is 33% in General Studies Paper II of Civil and total qualifying marks of General Studies Paper I of the prelims exam.
