  held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or
  the department shall ordinarily not exceed four years.

Section Officer / Programme Officer

• Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post
  held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or
  department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Monthly Salary for NCTE Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of NCTE Recruitment 2024, the salary is mentioned below:

For Deputy Secretary/ Regional Director-

• The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration in Level -12 in the pay matrix (Rs .78800- to Rs. 209200 as per 7thCPC).

For Under Secretary / Research Officer-

• The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration in Level – 11 in the pay matrix (Rs 67700- 208700 as per 7th CPC).

For Section Officer / Programme Officer-

• The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration in Level – 07 in the pay matrix (Rs 44900-142400 as per 7th CPC).

Required Qualifications and Experience for NCTE Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of NCTE Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below:

For Deputy Secretary/ Regional Director-

• The candidate should be Officers under the Central Govt. or State Govt. or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory, Semi Govt., Autonomous or other organizations.
• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• Holding the post of Associate Professor on regular basis in UGC Scale in level -11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700);
• Holding posts in level -11 of the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre for five years in the grade rendered after appointment thereto.

Experience –

• The candidate should have Two years’ experience in administration or educational administration or finance or legal matters; And
• The candidate should have Knowledge of using information and communication technology such as handling of data – base management system and use of off-line and on-line electronics resources.

For Under Secretary/Research Officer-

• Officers under the Central Govt. or State Govt. or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory, Semi Govt., Autonomous or other organizations.
• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• Holding the post of Assistant Professor on regular basis in UGC Scale in level -10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) for five years; OR
• Holding posts in level -10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre for five years in the grade rendered after appointment thereto; OR
• Holding posts in level -08 in the pay matrix (Rs. 47600-151100) or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre for seven years in the grade rendered after appointment thereto;

Experience –

• The candidate should have 02 years’ experience in administration or educational administration or finance or legal matters;
• The candidate should have Knowledge of using information and communication technology such as handling of data – base management system and use of off-line and on-line electronics resources.

For Section Officer/Programme Officer-

• Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory, Semi Govt., Autonomous or other Organisations.
• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
• Holding posts in Level – 6 of the pay matrix (Rs. 35400-112400) or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre for five years in the grade rendered after appointment thereto.

Experience –

• The candidate should have Two years’ experience in administration or educational administration or finance or legal matters;
• The candidate should have Knowledge of using information and communication technology such as handling of database management system and use of off-line and on-line electronic resources

Mode of Selection for NCTE Rcruitment 2024:

The candidate will be chosen based on an interview for NCTE Recruitment 2024.

• Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview for the further selection process.
