CA made Baseless Remarks on GST Department's Corruption: Rajasthan State Tax Service Association The Rajasthan State Tax Service Association has released a Press Note regarding baseless remarks passed by a Tax Practitioner on Corruption in the GST Department, in the emergency meeting of the Rajasthan Tax Service Association held on 12th Sep. The Text of the Press Note is as follows: Today on 12.09.2024, an emergency meeting of the Rajasthan Tax Service Association was held at Divisional Tax Bhawan, Jaipur. In the meeting, tax practitioner CA Jatin Harjai made baseless remarks on social media (X) about corruption in the GST department. JCTO Association and all SGST officers posted in Jaipur participated in the meeting in large numbers. In the said meeting, a resolution was collectively passed against the remarks of CA Jatin Harjai. Everyone unanimously passed a motion condemning it. Everyone agreed that CA Jatin Harjai should apologize for his factual comment and delete this post. All the officers proposed that along with CA Jatin Harjai, no other CA should be called for faculty in departmental training. Mr. RP Bairava, who was presiding over the meeting, said that this issue would be protested after discussing it with the CGST officers' association. On all these issues, protests will also be lodged in writing to the service union CA Association.
