DNB Counselling 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result for Online Centralized Merit Based Counseling for DNB Post Diploma 2024 Admission. Candidates who registered for the round one counselling and successfully appeared for it can access their seat allotment result at the official website, natboard.edu.in or https://counseling.nbe.edu.in/. DNB Counselling 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result comprises details such as roll number, rank, allocated quota, speciality, name of the hospital and state.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in DNB Counselling 2024 Round 1 must pay a non-refundable First-Year Course Fee of Rs. 1,25,000 (exclusive of payment gateway charges) to accept the seat allotted and freeze it. The candidates who have been allotted the seat but did not freeze it by paying the required amount will not be able to participate in the mop-up round, a part of DNB Counselling 2024, administered by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The candidates who have successfully FROZEN their seat by paying the required amount of the First-year course fee, can download their seat allotment letter from the website of the NBEMS. Once the seat allotment letter is successfully downloaded, candidates are required to visit the institute allotted to them along with all the relevant documents in original on or before 12-12-2024 before 1700hrs and join the DNB Post Diploma course. Candidates unsuccessful in following these above-listed steps will not be able to get admission to the seat allotted to them.

Candidates who will successfully opt for the FREEZING of seat allotted to them but could not pay the first year course fees on or before 12-12-2024 (1700 hrs), will lose the seat allotted to them. However, the candidate will be seat-eligible to appear for the second round of counselling and will have still a chance to secure their seat. The seats that will be allotted to the candidates in the first round will again be allotted to the candidates in the subsequent round of the Counseling.

Those candidates will not be able to appear for the Mop-up Round of counselling, if conducted, even if they are not allotted any seat in the second round of the counselling.

Candidates who successfully paid the required First Year Course fee but did not visit the allotted institute for further admission process along with all the relevant original documents for verification or failed to fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed during the verification of documents, on or before 12.12.2024 (1700 hrs), will lose the chance to get admission into at the allotted institute and fees submitted by the candidate will be forfeited. That candidates will loose the chance to appear for further Rounds of counselling.

Seat allocation is entirely provisional and dependent upon meeting the specified eligibility requirements and presenting the original credentials at the time of enrollment in the designated institution.
