Following the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2025, there are 103 openings to be filled for the post of Chargeman (Electrical, Electrician ‘A’, Electrician ‘B’ and WED ‘B’.

Age Limit for HCL Recruitment 2025:

Candidate should have a maximum age of 40 years as on the date of 01.01.2025 for applying to HCL Recruitment 2025. However, relaxation in age for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-Servicemen/Meritorious sports person shall be as under-

Probation Period of HCL Recruitment 2025:

The selected candidates for HCL Recruitment 2025 will be appointed on probation for a period of 06 months in that post from the date of appointment. The period
of probation may be extended for three months at a time, up to two times by the appointing authority.

Qualification and Experience for HCL Recruitment 2025:

For Chargeman (Electrical)-

• The applicant must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with one year of experience in mining installations as a supervisor after acquiring a Supervisory Certificate of competency, covering mining installations issued by the appropriate government. OR
• The applicant must have an ITI (Electrical) with three years experience in mining installations as a supervisor after acquiring Supervisory Certificate of competency, covering mining installations issued by the appropriate government. OR
• The applicant must have passed Class 10th with five years of experience in mining installations as a supervisor after acquiring a Supervisory Certificate of Competency, covering mining installations issued by the appropriate government.

Statutory Certificate (SC) (E)-

• The applicant must have a valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency, covering mining installations issued appropriate government.

For Electrician ‘A’-

• The applicant must have an ITI (Electrical) with four years of experience as an Electrician. OR
• The applicant must have passed Class 10th with seven years of experience, as an Electrician.

Statutory Certificate (SC) (E)-

• The applicant must possess a valid wiremen permit from the Government Electrical Inspector.

For Electrician ‘B’-

• The applicant must have an ITI (Electrical) with four years of experience as an Electrician. OR
• The applicant must have passed Class 10th with six years of experience, as an Electrician.

Statutory Certificate (SC) (E)-

• The applicant must possess a valid wiremen permit from the Government Electrical Inspector.

For WED ‘B’-

• The applicant must have a Diploma with 1 year of experience in the relevant field OR a Graduate (BA/B.Sc./B. Com/BBA) with 1 year of experience in the relevant field. OR
• The applicant must have an Apprenticeship with 3 Years of Experience in the relevant field. OR
• The applicant must have passed Class 10th pass with 6 years of experience in the relevant field.

Statutory Certificate (SC) (E)-

• The applicant must have a valid 1st Class Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate.

Selection Process for HCL Recruitment 2025:

As stated in the official notification of HCL Recruitment 2025, the mode of selection consists of a Written Test and a Trade Test & Writing Ability Test.

The maximum marks for written test will be 100 marks and the second level test (Trade Test and Writing Ability Test) will be qualifying in nature. The question paper booklet for the written test will be in English and Hindi which consists of objective type multiple choice questions. HCL reserves the right to cancel/withdraw any question/questions from the written test even at the time of evaluation if required under any circumstances.

Candidates who belong to UR, OBC and EWS categories have to pay Rs.500 as a non-refundable application processing fee to apply for HCL Recruitment 2025.
