Afcons Infrastructure Limited has informed the stock exchanges about receipt of penalty order from Tahsildar, Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The company announced the development on July 6, 2026, as per the listing regulations of SEBI.
According to the company, the authorities have imposed a penalty of Rs 16.48 crore over alleged irregularities related to earth excavation and the removal of soil in the Mouje Purna and Rahanal areas. These activities are linked to the MML5 Project.
The company also stated that there are no related proceedings involving its promoters or key management personnel in connection with this matter.
