All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani (West-Bengal) is seeking applications for the Professor and Additional Professor Positions in Various Departments. There are a total of 64 vacancies for the Posts.

Age-Limit for AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2022:

For the Post of Professor/Additional Professor, the age limit shall not exceed 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on the Cut Off date and for Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor it should not exceed 50 (Fifty) years as on the Cut Off date. The upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of online applications, i.e. the Cut Off Date.

Pay Scale for AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2022:

For the Post of Professor:

Level 14-A of the Pay Matrix i.e., Minimum Pay of Rs. 1,68,900. (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP Rs. 10,500 (6th CPC).

For the Post of Additional Professor:

Level 13-A2+ of the Pay Matrix i.e., Minimum Pay of Rs. 1,48,200 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP Rs. 9,500 (6th CPC).

Qualifications for AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2022:

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia:

(i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).

(ii) A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.D in Anaesthesia or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

(iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anaesthesia or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor of Anatomy

For medical candidates,

i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01 (i) above.

ii) A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MS in Anatomy or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the concerned of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS in Anatomy or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For non-medical candidates,

i) Master’s Degree in Anatomy from a recognized Institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

ii) A Doctorate Degree from a recognized University.

iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.

Assistant Professor of Biochemistry:

For medical candidates:

i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Sl. No. 01 (i) above.

ii) A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD in Biochemistry or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the subject/discipline concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Biochemistry or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Non-Medical Candidates,

i) A postgraduate qualification, i.e. Master’s Degree in Medical Biochemistry/Biochemistry.

ii) Doctorate Degree of a recognized University.

iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience from a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.

Application Fees for AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2022:

If an applicant is applying on Deputation (For All Categories) there is no application fee applied for the same.

For General/ OBC Candidates there is an application fee of Rs. 1,500 (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only) whereas for EWS Candidates it is Rs. 1200 (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only), and for SC/ST Candidates it is Rs. 1200 (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only). The candidates belonging to PwBD are exempted from paying the application fees.

Probation Period for AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidate will be appointed for a period of two (2) years on probation.

The online of application will be made available on AIIMS, Kalyani’s official website. The link for submission of online applications will be activated on the date of advertisement on Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar or earlier (as posted on the website).
