Annual Information Statement utility for Mac OS now available on Income Tax Portal
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has officially announced the release of the Annual Information Statement (AIS) utility designed for Mac OS on the income tax portal, effective December 1, 2023.
This announcement indicates that Macintosh users may now easily access and use the AIS system on the income tax site for their financial reporting and tax-related documents.
This will enhance the overall user experience and ensure compatibility with diverse operating systems.
Annual Information System
An Annual Information Statement (AIS) is a statement that provides complete information about a taxpayer for a particular financial year. It contains information about taxpayers' incomes, financial transactions, tax details, etc. A taxpayer can access AIS information and submit his response (if needed) by logging into his income-tax e-filing account.About Author
