As per the official notification of APSC recruitment 2023, there are 25 vacancies open for the post of Research Assistant in Planning Services under the Transformation and Development Department. 

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of APSC recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 38 years as on 01.01.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable-

• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
• For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January 2019.
• The upper age limit in respect of candidates who have been serving in a lower post or cadres in the service for a minimum period of 5 years on the date of application should not be more than 40 years on the 1st of January/2023.

The upper age limit for Ex-servicemen is relaxable as per Govt. Notification No. ABP .48/ 2009 / 84 dated 19th December 2022 as follows:

• The maximum age limit of Ex-servicemen is relaxable up to 50 years for the unreserved category.
• By 3 years for Ex-servicemen of the OBC/MOBC category i.e up to 53 years.
• By 5 years for Ex-servicemen of the SC/STP/STH category i.e. up to 55 years.

Qualification and Experience for APSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of APSC recruitment 2023, candidates have must required qualifications and experience under below-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of the subjects. Preference shall be given to Honours Graduates.

Candidates have to upload the relevant mark sheet/certificate reflecting the subjects.

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to Rs.97000.
