Assam Police Recruitment 2023: Assam Police is inviting applications for the post of Jail Warder in the Prison Department. As per the Assam Police Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 253 vacancies. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay band level 2. As per the Assam Police Recruitment 2023 the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Candidates will be selected through a PST and PET test. Candidates must be familiar with Assamese or any other State language fluently. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned below have to apply online from the official website on or before the last date. The online application will start on 28.01.2023 and the last date to apply online is 11.02.2023. An incomplete application will be summarily REJECTED.

Applicant must be H.S.L.C or equivalent from govt. recognized board or council.

The chest size of the male candidate should be more than 81 Cm when deflated. The weight should be proportion to height and age. Candidates must be mentally and physically healthy, and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of his /her duties. Candidates must undergo a Medical Examination as necessary before appointment to the service.
The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Candidates near vision should be normal. Candidates must not have squint eyes and should possess high color vision. Varicose veins shall be considered a temporary disqualification. Applicant must be in good mental and physical health. Applicant must be free from any physical deformities and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases or any other ailment that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
Applicant must have crossed the age of 18 years and should be below the age of 40 years.
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay band no. 02 (Rs. 14000-60500) and Grade Pay Rs. 5200.
