Qualification Required for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

As per the Assam Police Recruitment 2023 notification, Candidates should have HSLC or the equivalent of a University or Board recognized by the Govt. Mention below are the post-wise specific qualifications:

Tailor

Candidate should have a Diploma of Tailoring from the Institute recognized by Govt. of Assam. Trade skill includes operating both automatic and manual (foot/hand-driven) sewing machines. Knowledge of fabric and human body shape, sewing types of equipment etc.

Dresser

Candidate should have 02 (two) years of experience certificate in Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute. Trade skills include knowledge of contamination, sterilization, and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic conditions, the procedure of decontamination, and Cleaning & Bandaging wounds, and other affected body parts.

Safai Karamchari and Sweeper-

Candidate should have Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council. Candidate should have Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. or Minimum 01 (one) year work experience certificate from a registered NGO/ Municipality Board / Govt. Departments will carry 5 marks. Registered NGOs Registration Numbers must be reflected in the certificate.

Constable of Police

Candidate should have H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Constable (Driver)

Candidate should have HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
