Assistant Engineer

• B. Tech in (Civil) Engineering from a Government recognized University/ Institute approved by the AICTE.
• The Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering must be a Regular Course. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering obtained through a Distance Mode of Education by whatever name called, will not be accepted.

Junior Engineer(Civil)

• A candidate must have passed 3 years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an institute recognized by the Government.
• The Diploma in Civil Engineering must be a Regular Course. A diploma in Civil Engineering obtained through a Distance Mode of Education by whatever name is called, will not be accepted.

Age Limit for Assam Public Service Commission Recruitment 2022:

The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022.

• The upper age limit is relaxable :
• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
• For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of the candidate’s SC/ST/OBC and General Category as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January 2019.
• The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC Admit Card or Pass.
