Auditor beaten to death in Harassment case outside Thiruvallur Police station The 46-year-old auditor was fatally attacked outside the Thiruvallur All Women Police Station on Thursday evening, following his release from a police investigation about a woman's complaint of harassment. According to the authorities, the man swooned to death after being hit by the woman's younger brother. Robert from Thiruvallur was recognized as the deceased. According to the police, he was an auditor for a private financial company in Kakkalur, which is close to Thiruvallur. The woman and her family filed a police report after it was claimed that Robert had harassed a woman who worked in the same building for another company. Robert was apparently called in for an investigation on Thursday, and after reaching a mutually acceptable conclusion, he was released with a warning. Upon leaving the police station, Robert got into a fight with Mouli, the woman's brother, who wasn't there when the parties reached a compromise and viciously beat him. Following the attack, Robert collapsed to the ground. Police officers held him, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. On Friday, Mouli was taken into custody and placed under judicial remand. He works for a private company in Irungattukottai, which is close to Sriperumbudu, according to the police.
