HP is hiring an experienced EA cum Finance Analyst at their Bangalore location. This role functions as an administration assistant and an Accountant. Applies growth mindset & empathy when dealing with people & functions. Applies subject matter knowledge to solve accounting and business issues. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Leads and/or participates in cross-functional initiatives. Go to person for team management & record retention. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Contributes to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:
Acting as the point of contact among executives, team, stakeholders and other external partners.
Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner
Must possess fair knowledge of Accounting principles, direct / indirect taxes and corporate laws
Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
Represents finance on cross- functional teams.
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., B.com. M.com, MBA) preferred.
Typically 3+ years of experience as a financial analyst/ Accountant.
Strong knowledge of HP systems, including SAP ERP and various data flows
To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.
It’s an external facing role and will have a lot of work with consultants, ability to manage deliverables to stakeholders keeping timelines in mind
Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Excellent teamwork skills
Fair knowledge of tools for record retention & presentation skills
