Overview:

ABB is hiring an experienced Project Engineer at their Vadodara location. You will be working as Project Engineer and will be a part for Motion business area, Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for processing orders in engineering department meeting customer specifications and ABB standards and to deliver customer documentation.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Processing orders in engineering department

Meeting customer specifications and ABB standards

Delivering customer documentation, Bill of materials and all required manufacturing/procurement specifications on time and with good quality using ABB tools

Co-ordinating with other stake holders to ensure smooth order processing

Providing technical support to other departments whenever required

Adhering to ABB code of conduct and practicing the same.

Qualifications for this Job:

B Tech or master’s in mechanical design

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in motors/generators design environment preferred

Must know basics of Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)

Having hands on experience of 2D and 3D modeling & drafting software (AutoCAD and Unigraphics preferred

Knowledge of ERP software like SAP preferred

Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients
