Bank Holidays June 2024; Know the Full List Here
Banks will be closed for up to 10 days in June 2024, as per the holiday calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This covers all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays, which are the weekend holidays.
Various important Indian festivals, including YMA Day/Raja Sankranti and Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) fall in June. In June 2024, during the third month of the new financial year, the national and regional banks in India will be closed for approximately 10 days.
As per the annual list released by the RBI, the public and private sector banks in India will be closed for a maximum of 10 days in June 2024, which includes weekend leaves. It is important to mention that not all states or regions will have their banks closed for 10 days.
During these days, internet banking services will remain available. There will also be an ATM service accessible. A small number of the holidays on the list are public holidays, while others are exclusive to certain states or regions.
The holidays that will fall in the month of June are – YMA Day/Raja Sankranti on June 15, Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) on June 17 and Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) on June 18. Apart from this list, as per the Holiday Under Negotiable Instruments Act, the banks will also remain closed on June 02 (Sunday), June 08 (Second Saturday), June 09 (Sunday), June 16 (Sunday), June 22 (Fourth Saturday), June 23 (Sunday), June 30 (Sunday).

All Banks will be closed on June 02 as it is Sunday.
All Banks will be closed on June 08 on the occasion of the Second Saturday.
All Banks will be closed on June 09 as it is a weekend holiday.
There will be a bank holiday for all the banks in Aizawl and Bhubaneswar on the occasion of YMA Day/Raja Sankranti on June 15.
Banks all over India will be closed on June 16 on the occasion of Sunday.
All Banks in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad – Telangana, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram will be colsed for Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) festival holiday.
All Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will be closed on the occasion of Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha) festival holiday.
All banks will be closed on June 22 for the Fourth Saturday Holiday.
Banks all over India will be closed on June 23 on the occasion of Sunday.
All Banks will be closed on June 30 as it is the month’s weekend holiday.
