Bengal Governor Announces prestigious Governor’s Award for ICAI’s Top Rank Holders

The Governor of West Bengal has announced the prestigious Governor’s Award for the top rank holders of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This prestigious award was announced at ICAI Convocation Feb 2025 held at Eastern Zone of India in Kolkata.

The Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri C.V. Ananda Bose attended the Convocation of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at Science City Convention Centre, Kolkata as Chief Guest. The Honorable Governor highly spoke and given some message about the Chartered Accountants of todays generation.

The Bengal Governor said, “Chartered Accountants play a pivotal role in driving India’s economic growth by offering expertise in financial management, taxation, auditing, consulting, and economic development. Their contributions begin with financial management and planning, where they ensure accurate financial reporting, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and develop strategic financial plans to optimize business performance.”

At this convocation, the Hon’ble Bengal Governor, Shri C.V. Ananda Bose apart from praising the importance of CAs role in economy, he also announced the prestigious Governor’s Award for the top rank holders of ICAI.

A Chartered Accountant, CA Rohit Ruwatia Agarwal shared this news on his official twitter handle.
