The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC)'s Chairman Shri Sanjay Kumar Agarwal has informed that Bhubaneswar Customs recovers 22 Kg of Cocaine worth Rs. 220 Crore in a newsletter issued.
He said in the newsletter, "On the anti-evasion side, officers of Bhubaneswar Customs recovered 22 Kg of Cocaine having a street value of about Rs. 220 Crore by rummaging a ship. Interestingly, the drug packets were concealed in the crane of the ship. The officers receive a pat on their back for their vigilance towards detecting illegal smuggling of drugs."
