Bihar Police Recruitment 2023: Big news for the candidates waiting for bumper recruitment in Bihar Police or preparing for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment or Bihar Police SI Recruitment.
In its quest to create 10 lakh employment in the state, the Bihar cabinet decided on to create 75543 positions for police officers across all categories. The cabinet approved 13 agendas in total.
More than 75,000 new police officers will be hired by the Bihar Police soon. Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister, officially informed the Bihar state government about this. The Deputy CM announced on Tuesday that direct recruitment of policemen will soon be carried out for 75,543 positions in the state police. He did this while providing information on the Bihar Police Bumper Recruitment.
In a briefing to the media on cabinet decisions, additional chief secretary S Siddharth stated that the cabinet has approved the creation of 7808 posts for the first phase of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Dial 112, of both police and non-police cadre.
The state government has agreed to make direct police appointment on 48447 posts in order to strengthen the strength of the police force to fulfil the needs of the growing population. “The cabinet has also approved 19288 positions for ERSS phase 2 recruitment,” the additional chief secretary added.
During the closing ceremony of Police Week on February 27, 2022, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that the state government aimed to increase the number of policemen in the state from 165 to 170 per one lakh inhabitants.
Deputy CM Tejashwi may have publicly announced the recruitment of more than 75,000 police officers in Bihar Police, but the Deputy Chief Minister has not begun the procedure and has not released details on the positions yet.
Tejashwi Yadav stated that need-based appointments will be made in proportion to the population. Also, as per various media reports, the maximum number of vacancies may be for Constable and Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in the recruitment of 75,543 posts in Bihar Police.
