BPSC Assistant Exam 2023: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the date for the BPSC Assistant Recruitment Exam 2023. The BPSC has released the examination date for the BPSC Assistant Preliminary Competitive Examination. According to the official notification, the preliminary exam for the BPSC Assistant will be held on Friday, 28th April 2023.

As per the official notification for the BPSC Assistant Exam 2023, the competitive exam will have objective-type questions, i.e., multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam paper will contain questions from the general knowledge, general science, and mathematics section. The examination will be held for 2 hours and 15 minutes. The exam is scheduled to start at 12 pm and end at 2:15 pm. The commission will release the admit cards for this competitive examination on its official website. The admit cards will be released around one week prior to the exam date, i.e., on the 21st of April.

The BPSC intends to fill 44 posts through this exam. The application form for the BPSC Assistant exam was filled out from 7th September 2022 to 30th September 2022. The application process was opened once again on 14th December 2022 and students were given the chance to fill out the application form until 21st December 2022.

Exam Day Guidelines for BPSC Assistant Exam 2023

Students who have applied for this exam should strictly follow the exam guidelines mentioned in the official notification. Candidates must bring a printout of their admit card to the examination center. Students who are appearing for the BPSC Assistant preliminary exam can take their books to the examination center. Candidates are permitted to bring along their exam books to the exam hall. Important guidelines regarding the same are listed below:

  1. Candidates can bring a maximum of one book per section, i.e., a maximum of three books
  2. Students can bring one book for the general science section, one for general knowledge, and one for mathematics
  3. Textbooks must be from NCERT/BSEB/ICSE or any recognized education board only
  4. Candidates are not permitted to bring any related guidebook, photocopies of the book, or any handwritten notes to the exam center
  5. Candidates must clearly mention their name and roll number on their textbooks before entering the exam center
  6. The exchange of books within the examination center is strongly prohibited

Candidates must arrive at the examination location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Candidates are not permitted to bring their mobile phones, calculators, or smartwatches to the examination venue. Candidates must carefully read and adhere to all the instructions written on their admit cards. The admit card will be made available online. Admit cards will not be sent by post. Any breach of the official guidelines may result in termination from the recruitment process.
