IAT 2023: Application Dates Out, Check Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Other Details
IAT 2023: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the application form for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2023. The Registration process for the IAT 2023 commenced on 15th April 2023. The application form has been made available online on the official website. Eligible and desirous students will have to complete the entire application process online. The last date to apply for the IAT 2023 is 25th May 2023.
The IAT will be held on 17th June 2023. The examination will start at 9 am. The IISERs have been established by the Government of India to promote interdisciplinary science education and research. Currently, there are IISERs at Bhopal, Kolkata, Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram, Pune, Mohali, and Berhampur. The IISER conducts IAT to admit students in the 4 years Bachelor of Science (BS) and 5 years Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS) dual degree programs. The IAT 2023 application fee is Rs 2,000 for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates. Candidates from other categories will have to pay Rs 1,000 as an application fee. The fee for Foreign Nationals is Rs 8,500. IISER has released the schedule for almost all events of IAT 2023. The important dates and events have been tabulated herein.

The IISER has prescribed certain eligibility criteria in order to appear for the IAT 2023. The detailed eligibility criteria are:
The IAT 2023 will be held in online mode, i.e., a Computer Based Test. The exam will have objective-type questions from various subjects. Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The section-wise question and marks are tabulated below:
