BREAKING: ICAI Exams Now To Be Held Only Twice A Year
On April 06, 2026, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) made a significant announcement regarding the scheduling of its Chartered Accountants (CA) Final Examinations.
At present, CA Final examinations are conducted three times a year, i.e., January, May, and September. However, after considering feedback from various stakeholders, including students and professionals, ICAI has now decided to change this pattern to simplify the examination process.
According to the new announcement, the CA Final examinations will now be held twice a year, specifically in the months of May and November. This revised schedule will come into effect starting with the May 2026 examination cycle and apply to all subsequent attempts.
The change is anticipated to make the exam schedule clearer and more consistent, giving students more preparation time.
