Breaking: LPG Cylinder Prices Slashes to Rs.500; New Rule to Give 12 Cylinder in Year at Rs.500 from 2023
The news of great relief regarding the LPG gas cylinders is coming out. Now people will be given 12 cylinders in a year for only five hundred rupees.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made a significant announcement regarding the state’s LPG gas cylinder or cooking gas cylinder costs. He stated that beginning April 1, 2023, those under the BPL and Ujjwala schemes will be provided gas cylinders for Rs 500 per cylinder.
Currently, domestic cooking gas cylinders cost Rs 1,050 in Rajasthan. Liquefied petroleum gas has been reduced in price for Ujjwala participants who fall below the poverty threshold.
The Bharatiya Janata Party government at the centre introduced the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana which offers free cooking gas hookups to families living below the poverty line.
Gehlot tweeted on Monday that “the senior officials are preparing the road map to implement the programme in the state.” In addition, the state administration will devise a scheme to give kitchen supply packages to those in need.
Prior to the state’s upcoming Assembly elections next year, the statement was made. On Monday, Gehlot spoke to the media in Alwar as he joined party leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which had arrived in the city.
Gehlot discussed the state government’s plans to protect women’s safety in addition to his pledge to lower the cost of cooking gas cylinders.
