Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2024:

The age limit to apply for BSF Recruitment 2024 is indicated below-

For Head Constable and Constable-

• The minimum age limit is 18 years.
  The maximum age limit is 25 years.

For Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector), Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)-

• The maximum age limit is 28 years.

For Constable (Storeman)-

• The minimum age limit is 20 years.
• The maximum age limit is 25 years.

Qualification for BSF Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the required qualification to apply for BSF Recruitment 2024 as described below-

For Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)-

• The applicant must have 03 years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation or Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
• Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.

For Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector)-

• The applicant must have 03 years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering or Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
• Preferably two years experience in maintenance or overhauling of communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopters held by Border Security Force.

For Constable (Storeman)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation pass with Science, or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• The applicant must have two years of working experience in-store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.

For HC (Plumber)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation pass or its equivalent with an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years of experience in the respective trade from a reputed firm.

For HC (Carpenter)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation pass or its equivalent with an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years experience in the respective trade from a reputed firm.

For Constable (Generator Operator)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with an Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel /Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years of experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

For Constable (Generator Mechanic)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with an Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years of experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

For Constable (Lineman)-

• The applicant must have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with an Industrial Training Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

Salary for BSF Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for BSF Recruitment 2024 will be paid a monthly salary as mentioned below-

• The selected candidates for Head Constable will be paid a monthly salary on Pay Matrix Level 04 (Rs.25500-81100) as per the 7th CPC.
• The selected candidates for Constable will be paid a monthly salary on Pay Matrix Level 03 (Rs.21700-69100) as per the 7th CPC.
• The selected candidates for Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector), and Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) will be paid a monthly salary in level 05 i.e. between Rs.29200 to Rs.92300.
• The selected candidates for Constable (Storeman) will be paid a monthly salary in level 03 i.e. between Rs.21700 to Rs.69100.

Selection Process for BSF Recruitment 2024:

The written examination in 2 phases, Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical/Trade Test and Medical Examination will be included to select the candidates for BSF Recruitment 2024. The candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of BSF.
