Budget 2022: Tax Incentives for Co-ops AMT to be cut to 15%
The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting her fourth Union Budget in Parliament in a paperless manner, like she did last year. Domestic and foreign investors, as well as other interest groups such as farmers, crypto investors, worried middle class and business organisations, as well as MPs, will be watching the Budget address closely.
- Alternate Minimum Tax for cooperative societies to be cut to 15%.
- Proposal will reduce surcharge on cooperative societies to 7%, for those whose income is between Rs 1 crore and Rs 10 crore.
